Hey y'all, I'm new to the forum. I'm an Airman in the US Air Force Stationed up at Eielson AFB, Alaska (20 miles south of Fairbanks). After arriving up here I realized there was little to no Amateur rally racing so my Subaru I had was basically useless besides daily driving. Before I came up here I had a 79' CJ7 with a 304 AMC and a decent bit of lift. I unfortunately had to sell her prior to coming up here.

While taking a friend to go pick up his Jeep Liberty I got bit by the bug again. I ended up leaving with an 09 JK with 31 miles on the clock. As soon as I got to base I had to hit some trails.

Alaska is an awesome playground for a jeep. Back in Illinois all we really had was mud so I'm used to running in the slop. Up here I've gotten more into trail riding and minor rock riding.
The little Goodyear Wrangler ST's aren't too bad but I'm definitely going to upgrade before winter hits. I've been thinking about some Cooper Discoverer STT's and a decent size lift, about 3-4 inches. A winch is also in the works right now.
