Hello all

I have yet to find any photos of the JKs with the 2" Full Traction lift, or 2.5" terra-flex lift installed... does anybody have pics of theirs installed yet? thanks.

Sorry, these aren't the best photos in the world but they were the best I could do considering how the JK's were positioned in their booths...

This is a Full Traction 2" Econo Lift with 33x12.50's on the Landrunner JK:

The 2" econo lift even looks good with the stock rubicon rims and tires. Did you install that lift yourself? Also, are there any other adjustments or additions to anything to make that lift complete? Looks really good, What did you do with the stock and tires if you dont' mind me askin?

These are 315/75R16's and by the looks of how far the tires are sticking out past the fenders, I'd say they were using 5x5 to 5x5.5 wheel adapters.

Colonel Angus,

The kit is complete. I installed it myself and it was easier than the 4 lifts that I've done on TJ.

The kit uses a front trackbar relocation bracket and none in the back. I wondered about that but the axles were right on. The bump stops are very heavy duty, like the REs that I have used before. And it's the bump stops that allow the taller tire. I'm using the stock shocks for now and they are working fine.

The only other thing I had to do was trim the air dam.

The stock tires and wheels are for sale if you are interested.

Do you mind telling us how you did it/what tools you used? :yup:

Thanks.

I used an electric grinder with a cut off wheel. It took all of 2 minutes.

Del4s,

Have you had a chance to fully flex your jeep off road yet? I was just curious to see if you had any rubbing issues anywhere with the 315/70-17 and the 2" bb. I was thinking of this same combo except in a mud terrain for doing some pretty serious wheelin'.

Thanks

duffman,

I haven't had a chance to go off road yet, but I'm not expecting any significant problems. I'm using the same bump stop extensions as the taller kits. The wheels are 17x9 with a 5" BS which helps the clearence issues alot.

I just won't have the droop the taller kits have.

The tires are 315/75R16 and the wheels are most likely mounted on using wheel adapters to make them work. Look how far they stick out beyond the flares.

Are those soft 8"s on the rubi? I was alse wondering are those both the same wheels or does one have bead lockers?

Those are KMC Assaults without the "mood rings". I got that wheel because of the size and backspacing, 17 x 9 with 5" BS. It's a very light cast wheel and painted a flat to satin black. I'm real happy with the way it looks and fits and its weight.

These are pics with the grey camo. I can do orange if I want. I really like the plain and got a great deal on a light cast wheel.

Nice wheels - very original!

Is it lifted or stock? What's the total wheel diameter?

Thanks!

Dean,

It has the 2" FT econo lift. The tires are 315-70 r 17 which are called 35s but are actually 34.5s.

Even though the wheel is a 17, the outside diameter is 18". I had never actually measured a wheel before and thought a 17 was a 17 but I guess there is an extra 1/2" radius for the bead. The reason I measured is that I am thinking about getting some rings that would serve as actual scuff protection when I do go offroad to protect the wheels.

I finally found some black button head bolts for the rim holes instead of the stainless that came with the wheel. For some reason they just bothered me.
