For those who are interested, here's another quick how-to write-up I just finished for opening up the Sunrider soft top

So... How much more effort to put the top totally down?
Sure looks like a lot of hardware above the doors. And with the full height B piller, I don't see true open top jeeping being an option on the Unlimited.
I wish there were more pics of the half door version.
Although I'd probably just do what I have always done. Pull the top off for the summer and run doorless with just a Bikini top.
Speaking of doorless, since they moved the windshield hinge to the middle, do the outer edges of the windshield frame look sturdy enough to mount a set of CJ style mirrors so that one can legally remove the doors and still have mirrors?

Just got back from doing just that. And, it's actually very easy to do - did it in about 5 minutes and 10 minutes total to get it the top tucked into a boot bag. I will be posting a write-up for it soon.

Yes, the windshield frame bolts in place much like the TJ does now. In fact, the connection of the windshield to the body looks stronger than before.
