Has anyone with a 60CSx had a problem with it sometimes tracking backwards or sideways when in the 'track up' mode?? By tracking backwards I mean when laying a track it should be at the bottom of the screen below the pointer. The problem just seemed to appear and corrects itself when it feels like it. Also when it happens, I noticed the compass page was blank.
I've had my unit for about four months and the issue has occurred on 5 different trails... three in AZ, once in Ouray, CO and once in Moab, UT.
I called Garmin three times and none of their reps have heard of that problem. The first said to recalibrate the compass when it happened, but it did not fix it. The second rep had me do a master reset which also did not fix it. The third rep told me to send it back for a replacement which I did yesterday. We'll see what happens when i get the new unit....
