The front grill is a very simple plastic piece, anyone out there making a replacement flat front one ;)

Without a doubt, I'd be willing to bet Mopar or Kentrol will come out with a chrome or stainless steel one. But, I'd be willing to bet it will be the exact same design.

I was hoping the someone will make a black mesh that will go behind the grill.
I have a 4 door sahara in steel blue on order.

I fancy making a flat one, bringin those flashers in a little. But I've alwyas been a fan of rhinoliner on top of POR - that stops everything (overkill on plastic thought ;))

a flat one would be nice. The only thing i dont like about the new JK look is the way the grill looks. Looks too much like Libertys.

meshing the oem grill would be super easy to do. It's just a trip to homedepot away :D

I was thinking of black mesh to hide all that lurks behind and looks less then good.
Note that the seven slot grille design is trademarked and any company reproducing it would have to pay a royalty to Jeep for its use. That's why replacement grilles for old CJs are so damn expensive.

I thought they tried to trademark it but since Hummer already stepped in and started using a seven slot grille they couldn't do anything.
