I relocated mine on top of the frame. If you have a 1" BL it makes it really easy. If not, then just loosen the driver side mounts and lift the driverside. This will give you enough room to move it up. It will raise it 2".

It's in a place that is vulnerable to getting smacked by rocks and/or trail debris. ;)

The guys at Skid Row are working on a skid plate of some sort to protect it.
