Who would have thunk - a drain for your Dana 44 differential :crazyeyes:

Is it on BOTH or just the Rear?

I don't know for sure but so far as I can tell, it is only in the rear and only on the Dana 44.

It will be in both my front and rear 44's in my Rubicon. The drain was in the TJ 44's also.
Kind of off topic, but what in the world is that coming out of the diff?? I know, I know, diff fluid silly, but why is it that color?? That looks like it has been in several water holes. Different fluids in the JK's???:confused:

Hmmm, that does look kind of milky doesn't it. Maybe it's just the lighting.

Eddie,
Hi! My DANA 30 (front) has a drain plug. If you look behind the front drivers side tire the drain plug is at the 7:00 position on the rear portion of the housing. It also appears to be very well protected. Take care... Mike

as far as the color of that oil, i'd say lucas
