Sweet! I have a black 2dr X on order as well. Yours looks great. Can't wait to see it with the lift and the 35's. I went with the 32's from the factory, hoping I'll be satisfied with them for a few years.
I'm not sure about your tire cover, but that's just me. I'm looking foward to pulling the stickers off, throwing on a black cover and eventually(a few years from now) getting black wheels. Anyone else ink this would look cool all black?
Anyway, I'm jealous and I'm glad you're enjoying yours.
Have fun!!!
Matt
Just noticed you have half doors. Very cool. If you get around to it can we see it with the top down and the windows out?

thanks, yeah very happy with it so far :) the tire cover was actually a christmas present from my fiance its suppost to be urban camo(black/gray/white) but was shipped incorrectly, and will be returned and exchanged for the correct one but didn't want to hurt her feelings and put it on for her meanwhile  but yeah i agree it doesn't match
once the lift is in i have finally picked out a set of rims and tires for it:

xd assault rims 15x8 or 16x8 whichever will fit. tring to confirm which now. they will go nice with the urban camo cover.

oh yeah i will get some topless picks asap too (the jeep not me :rotflmao1:)

Get 15" rims. They offer more tire for off-roading, and they will fit fine.
Plus 15" tires are cheaper.

I dont know about fitting fine with 15's. They work depending on the design of the rim..
Nice 2 door!

Ive got a black 2dr x myself, and have already pulled the stickers. Soon as i get my tax return im spending ever penny of it on my Jeep with 35" Super Swampers and a 4in lift. Its gonna be all blacked out as well. Black rims and blackwall tires, with no stickers. Should look good i think.

yeah i am hoping the 15" will fit that is my first choice, but i love those rims. so in the case that the design of them makes them unable to fit the brake calipers etc then i will have to go with the 16". but i do agree i would prefer the 15" they are about $15 cheaper per rim and the tires are about $25 cheaper per tire. compared to the 16"s so if i have to up size to 16s it adds about $160 to the cost :( so crossing my fingers on these alloys fitting in the 15x8 size. :D
plus i like the look of meaty tires on vs larger rims. this isn't a hummer mall crusier after all

the 3 different 15" rims we tried worked.. I just wouldnt say for sure all will work.
Thats when the rim would fit..

yeah its kinda annoying, when most of the online shops aren't listing 15's for the jk. 4wheelhardware had then on there for the jk last month and now they have only 16's listed for the jk. i had one in the shopping cart saved and now the link i have says not right product code as it is no longer avaible. but either way i found those rims and like them better anyway.

thats what promted them to try the rims out on my JK, some of the 15's might not fit, its better to be safe and right than wrong.

yeah but i had confirmed with their technican through emails that the 15" steels and some alloys that he had fit. he was very helpful by the way and actually had arranged a jk to come by the shop to fit the rims. he was intially suprised that the website was listing 15". in my first email he responded that only 17" would fit, when in responded that i had 16" from factory and that i knew 15"steely would fit, and that his website listed them for the jk he flipped!
thats when he brought in the jk to test. i was set at ease with my choice of alloys fitting and now they don't have any 15" rims in 5x5 listed on the website! thats what i find fustrating. that and i have seen multiple posts now with all sorts of 15" rims being mounting and fitting but have not heard of one yet that has failed to clear? i maybe wrong but maybe we should start listing the ones that don't fit (if any?) instead of thinking that they don't? just a thought. new thread maybe in order for rims that don't fit? cuz i havn't seen one yet.. :D its a conspiracy i tell you to sell larger more expensive rims/tires lol

Amen to that.
I would like one, but i just dont know where i would carry it.
Like alot of other things:
My bro-in-law had a winch on the front of his old pickup, he was constantly having to clean the contacts etc on it. Tried all sorts of covers, finally just gave up and yanked it off in the winter.
I like the rear winch idea of moving the muffler and putting it behind the bumper, like the one that is shown in the SEMA photos, but that thing would rot in a week in north east salt. :naw:
Many of the cool things there are to do with Jeeps really just are not practical up here.
