Anyone got them? Where did you mount them/air tank? I just ordered some.

Hey Texas,
Where did you order them from and how much did they cost you? I was looking into buying a set. I would like a real set of Nathan P-5's but just dont know where to mount the unit and tank.

You guys need to make sure to always blow them when the folks ahead of you are crossing the tracks! I know you will get some interesting reactions!!:eek!:

checkout www.hornblasters.com I'm going with "the conductors specia"
I think they sound a tad deeper then the Nathans. I know a guy that has that set on his H2, and it's mind blowing.
As far as where I'm mounting them???? that is still in the air. I was going to get a winch mount bumper, but I'm going back and forth, on maybe putting them underneath.
I will post some pics when they are on

Thats who I was going to go with. So you have actually heard the conductors special in person? How far can you hear it for? And does it sound like a real train?
Thanks for the response.

Can you use the air tank as a compressor for your tires as well? Where would one ideally mount such a tank

I dont have my JK yet so I couldnt tell you. And yes all you would need is the fitting on the tank to be able to attach your compressor hose, and any necessary air tools! :yup: Great for airing down and filling back up, and also a LOUD ASS HORN.

Okay, so maybe I don't know much about train horns(other than they're loud), but couldn't you use that Warn winch with the air compressor on it as the horn air tank as well? Just route a Y switch in the output line so during normal driving you have it switched over to the horns and when you need the winch swap it back to the output hose?

They had been selling on ebay for about $280 with compressor tank valve tubing etc., but I don't see them listed any more.
