Nice!
Looks like a Rock River Arms. Did you build it w/ a kit or buy it?
I've always wanted an AR, but never got one. I've owned several AK's though.

It is a rock river arms, i built it from parts since RRA wont sell a 14.5" barrel to the public, so I ordered a 14.5" barrel with a perm attached flash supressor... its my 2nd AR i've owned, I also have a custom built 1911, a HK pistol, a Rem 11-87, and a Weatherby hunting rifle... I <3 guns :-)

Here is my RRA LAR15. Actually it is an RRA lower, Colt barrel, and Armalite upper w/ some other things. But it stays in my work car most of the time. Not the Jeep.

Is your job accepting applications???
Damn!
Those are impressive! What do you do with them? Mainly target shooting and stuff like that, or for protection?

Mainly target shoot, but I also normally leave it within a few feet of my bed, behind the dresser with the mag in and the bolt open so if someone breaks in all i gotta do is grab it and slam the bolt home :-)

I was SWAT for about 10 years with my department and long range sniper for about 8 of those. I set my rifle up for hard entries and light tatical work.

I don't know if I should be scared or happy you live in Richmond too... on one hand, you may be crazy, on the other, you may help save us from the next sniper!! awesome idea tho!
Hey OJ, a few of us from other 4x4 clubs around Richmond started a new Richmond VA Offroad club, for any make and model, so we have some Jeeps, some yotas, some xterras, and some others already, if you are interested stop by and introduce yourself, we wheel a lot, usually at least twice a month, usually more in the winter, have a run coming up this weekend to Crozet, and next weekend to Shoe Creek. We'd love to have ya with us! http://rva-or.thinkmud.com
P.S. I was a Marine and that picture was giving me flash backs... I have dreams of mounting a Mark 19 on my rollbar....

I've been waiting since Nov 11th for my JK.
Guess I'll have to just keep waiting.
I was planning on stealing one of your Jeeps
til I saw the antitank heat you guys are packing!
Great anti-theft deterant, I love my AR(Bushmaster), just got the Springfield M1A .308 for a little more umpfh.........Got a Jeep Question....., I am looking hard at the new 4 dr. and am undecided on the package to order, I'm stuck between the Man. and auto tranny, and Rubicon or building up an X? All comments appreciatted.

I went through the same decision making and I'm in Tampa.
Lots of stop and go traffic and no rocks/mountains.
So I went with a Sahara/automatic.
I have an 89 Sahara/manual also.
I'm not very knowledgable about the differences
in offroad capabilities between a Sahara vs. Rubicon.
Could someone give examples of where the differences
come into play on the trail?
I suspect the Sahara will be more than adequate for my usage,
but I seem to have been given ample time to change my mind
by Toledo.
