Finally had a chance to load up my ATV trailer with two of our three quads and head for the Desert.
A little info for those who plan on towing:
My setup is the 4 door with auto tranny. Trailer below as loaded is about 1700Lbs and does not have electric brakes.
I reset the MPG computer and did the 160 mile round trip which consist of tight twisty road with some steep grades and got 14MPG for the trip.
The JK was in command of the trailer and wasn't being pushed around, in fact it handled the trailer as well as my 2003 Siera 1500 extended cab truck.
On the steep grades I has to manually shift the tranny down to second to maintain 50-60Mph (4k on the tach) not to bad as I didn't expect the same results I'm used to with my Sierra or Wifes Armada.
Overall once again this new JK can do all I need from commuting, wheeling and towing my other toys to the great out doors.
