Spend a few hours in the Cleveland National Forest today. Saw about a dozen non-JKs but not a single JK. Was running solo so no action shots. Not a crazy place anyway but a lot of fun just the same.

Hey davidaf, was that up by Santiago Peak (Main Divide Road) or were you playing up in Wildomar? BTW, the only reason why you didn't see anyone else with a JK is because nobody else around here has one yet including me :tearsdrip: Need I say, consider yourself lucky :yup:

Davidaf - how did you get the dealer to put the Rubicon Tires on the Sahara? Or did you buy them after you bought it? BTW - looks great!

Yea, it was Santiago peak. Another member Bill was up there a day before. Sounds like there's about 6 of us in the IE (once you OC guys get yours you can come too ;-) ). Maybe we should post in the "Trails" forum before we go and see if anybody wants to tag along! Maybe we'd set some type of recored "Most JKs on any one trail"
I bought the BFG tires aftermarket. Wasn't smart enough to try and get them to swap out the Goodyear SRAs. Got a good deal $650 for all 5 shipped. You can find they guy on ebay if you search for 255 75 17. I PMed him for a price on 5 shipped.

How do you like the BFG's? I also have the SR-A's, and am looking to upgrade. I have a neighbor who is interested in buying mine, so I am just trying to figure out what I want to put on. 650 for 5 tires shipped is a great deal.

So far the BFGs are great. They did great on the trail and they sure look a lot better then the SRAs. The only concern I have is their performance in the rain. I know the SRAs were bad hopefully the BFGs aren't worse. So far on street they are fine.
I didn't really need a "mud" tire but, the way I figured it, Jeep was willing to put them on the Rubicon and all the reviews claim it's the best stock 4x4 ever made so how bad could they be. Plus at around $130 shipped I couldn't pass them up.
