so I'm having a little trouble trying to figure out what to do, I want to run 35" tires, and ,well that means that it's going to be a 12.5 wide tire, well with the stock rubi wheels at 7.5" they MAY be a little too skinny for the 12.5 tires. my original thoughts were to get the lift , tires and wheel spacers and keep the stock wheels but now I'm not sure.

so my questions are these:

what are thoughts of mounting 12.5" wide tires on 7.5 wheels ??

and second if I get rid of the tires only what would be a good asking price for them, and a good asking price for the wheels and tires if I decide to get new wheels....

thanks
Danny

I hear ya. 7.5" is only .5" less than a standard 8" wide wheel but even that is a bit skinny for a 12.50 wide tire. I'm sure it'll work fine but it might be hard to find a shop that'll install the tires for ya... maybe not. Like you, I'm thinking about getting new wheels.

As far as how much to ask goes, I sold my TJ Canyon wheels for $450 and that was after using them for 4 years. I'd be willing to bet we could get at least $500-$600 for the wheels alone and close to a grand if you throw in the tires too. :)
