I caught them in the mountains. You won't find any native brown trout like that swiming near the city the water gets too hot down here for them. Thanks for the compliments. It was a blast. I love brown fishing they are so agressive its awesome, they hit hard and hit the whole time. I usually toss panther martins, rooster tails and rapalas. Do you do much fishing?

Very cool. I'll be fishing on Lake Michigan this summer and will probably get a couple browns mixed in with the Salmon we'll catch.

"In the mountains"...........ya that narrows it down......ha!!! I don't blame ya there no doubt. I don't know anything about AZ. but maybe they were caught somewhere above Fladstaff???....as I heard that's some of the highest elev. in AZ. Tell ya the truth, I didn't even think AZ has Brown trout.
Beautiful fish. I remember in Tahoe we had some monster browns. My step father had one mounted....it was 5 lb. / 8oz. that he caught out of the Truckee River years and years ago. I remember as a kid..my prize was a 13"er. Boy was I proud of that fish...!!!
Hey Direct.....I bet you won't ship for free to me up here in Alaska....ha!!!

Wow! Very nice indeed! We fish for Cutthroat Trout in our area. They are in almost any snow fed water here. Great fun!

YEAH!!!!!!!!! A Jackson Hole member!!!!!!! I was born there! Jackson hole is what started me on fishing. Caught my first fish a 2 years old out of Jackson lake. Do you have any pictures? I am trying to plan a trip out there next summer. My family still has friends out there.

How long since you moved away? Maybe you know us? We had Stone's Boots near Trailside Gallery then moved our business and gave it a new name "Stone's Mercantile." Good to hear from you. Here is a picture I dug out of my archive of my daughter and her husband holding up a stringer of Cutthroat Trout caught up the Gros Ventre River.
