I couldn't wait more than a week to get my new Rubi into some mud. I went up in the hills near Battle Ground, Washington and took these photos:

Thanks! I'm using a Nikon D200. Photography is a hobby of mine. Actually one of the main reasons I got the Jeep was to be able to go wherever I want for a shot.

It's not. RAW capture. Curves adjustment and sharpening in Photoshop.

what lens? it looks pretty wide.

Yeah it's a wide angle. Sigma 10-20mm.

Nice pics, I miss that area. I met my wife while working for the DNR in Castle Rock. I found more cool spots while working in the forest up there. I got my chessy in Battleground, but that was after we moved to southern Oregon.

Fetopher, those are some great photos!!!! You should definately work professionally, you've got some real talent. Your pictures make amazing wallpapers. Nice lookin' rig also!!!!!

Did you use a pretty long exposure on the waterfall shot? I love how the water looks. Great looking jeep too!

Yes, I believe the shutter was open for three seconds. Really, I need to get an ND filter so I can hold back the sky. You'll note that there's no sky in this photo... that's because it was blown out. Grr..
