I couldn't wait more than a week to get my new Rubi into some mud. I went up in the hills near Battle Ground, Washington and took these photos:

It was so much fun I think I'll have to do it again next weekend. :)

Those are great pix. What camera are you using?

Thanks! I'm using a Nikon D200. Photography is a hobby of mine. Actually one of the main reasons I got the Jeep was to be able to go wherever I want for a shot.

It's not. RAW capture. Curves adjustment and sharpening in Photoshop.

Nice pics, I miss that area. I met my wife while working for the DNR in Castle Rock. I found more cool spots while working in the forest up there. I got my chessy in Battleground, but that was after we moved to southern Oregon.

Did you use a pretty long exposure on the waterfall shot? I love how the water looks. Great looking jeep too!

Thanks everyone, for the kind words.

Yes, I believe the shutter was open for three seconds. Really, I need to get an ND filter so I can hold back the sky. You'll note that there's no sky in this photo... that's because it was blown out. Grr..

I just got a 500mm Macro lens and my Jeep, too, will be to get me to the shooting ground... (when I eventually order it)...
