Has everyone had good luck pulling boats with their JK?
I have a 17' Ranger bass boat, haven't had a chance to hook up yet with work. Just curious ?

What is the overall weight of your boat/trailer? I tow a small trailer and loaded up it's right at about 2000 lbs. With my 2 door (3.73's) it's no sweat. Even easier with my Unlimited with 4.10's.

I tow an older 1970 Safe-T-Mate 13.5 foot, fiberglass boat with my 2-door. total boat/trailer weight around 2500. No problems at all with launch/recovery and can hit 65mph easily.
Here's my setup...I didn't use the img tags since it is a rather large picture.

I have a 21 foot boat that weighs about 3k with the trailer, it pulls fine, not a ton of power, but it handles well and feels safe.

I tow a 19.5 Bayliner with outdrive & bowrider and it tows just fine. A little sluggish up the hills but no real complaints.
