UPGRADES MADE: Be Sure to Update Your User Profile!!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that we've made some upgrades to the forum software last night and have included a few new features that I think you will find quite beneficial. First and foremost, we have added the ability for you to list out all the aftermarket parts and modifications you have made on your JK in your User Profile. We believe this will be a big help to everyone and would encourage you to update your JK list at your earliest convenience. Another feature we have added to your User Profile is a Friends List. Of course, this is an optional feature but thought it would be nice for others to know who you like to hang out with on the forum. And, last but not least, we have also added an Photo Album to your User Profile which will allow you to upload some of your favorite JK pics for everyone to see.

So you know, there were many more features that were installed that should help make your experience here on JK-Forum.com more enjoyable and many more that we intend to make available in the near future. Needless to say, be sure to check back for updates. :cool:

What about a way to instant message with users that you choose. Instead of PMing back and forth just send an instant message? Just a question. I don't even know if it is possible. Just curious that is all

This is something that can be done with users who choose to make their IM information public on the forum. You can do this in the "Edit Your Details" section in the User CP:

After you have entered this information, other users can IM you by clicking the icon under your username or in your profile:

While the forum doesn't offer "skins", there are good options to the solve the problem on the user end, and this process has worked for several members here. :cool:

I'm not sure exactly what you mean.... we have integrated those programs into JK-Forum so that members can easily IM each other through our interface (check out Toad's profile for an example). Other than that, I don't think there is much we can do. But, I will be sure to pass your suggestion along.

To add albums/pics to your profile, go to your User CP.

Find the link on the left that says "Pictures & Albums" and click it.
Choose "Add Album", enter a title and description and click "Submit".
On the album page, find the link that says "Upload Pictures" (above the album name) and click it.
Upload pictures from your hard drive (max file size of 97.7 KB and max resolution of 600x600)
