HI 2k2- I bought a new Starcraft, it had the aluminum roof with a center seam and aluminum trim around the edges of the top. I didn't have good luck with this type of roof at all, it leaked into the corners of the roof and lower body. After 5 or 6 years I had a poptop that looked new with no inner structure left. If you buy one, be sure and buy one that has a one piece fiberglass top
