I see it was moved to the Great Lakes staging area so it can be seen by more people in that area. These threads don't get as much attention as that one would. ;)

Yeah, but the great lakes thread is not really about camping and hiking and that is what I was interested in..... * sigh*

:sigh:

I moved it to the Great Lakes section, assuming you would get more responses that way. If you noticed, there was a redirect here in the camping forum, as well (basically doubling your thread's exposure).

But, as I can see this has made you very unhappy, the thread has been returned to where it was.

Last year I went to the Porcupine State Park and did some trail riding\camping in the Ottawa National Forest just south of there. Probably not the area you're interested in, since it's on the W side of the UP, but it was a pretty nice area - looking forward to heading further N and W of there.

Hey Don, yes a little bit of mud. I did get it all out of the radiator though.

I installed a aux trans cooler. I also have a leak on the front d30 pinion seal.

Silver lake will be a lot less muddy.

take care

I'm not sure if I will be at silver lake or not. But if I come I will have the new camper in tow.

Is yours under warranty for the pinion leak?

Cheers
Don

Nope, just hit 39k. I just had the soft top header fixed due to warpage. I brought it in 5k ago, and they finally replaced it. I also have an oil lk on the timing cover. Oh well .

We just bought a new (to us) camper also.

It is a 17' hybrid Keystone Cabana.

What kind of camper did you get.

I picket a 2008 Trail Lite Crossover 189QB its a hard side.

It has a nice layout which is much nicer than our old Toyota RV. Plus now when I go somewhere camping we get to take the Jeep which was the reason for the change.

Did you go from guest to joining the club?

Don

How is it for towing, and do you have a 2 dr or unlimited. Looks like it has all the goodies, sans generator.

Will you have your new camper with you at silver lake?

I will have mine, but I will be alone, Judy has to work, and Kyle live in Indy.

I just got it last Friday night, so it hasn't been used yet.

Now I am gone this weekend to Buffalo to visit my daughter so it's first use will be for Silver Lake.

Are you leaving Friday night the 24th to get there and I assume you will be at the state camp grounds.

Cheers
