Man, I am just drooling over this thing! Looks like I may need to sell my 60 CSX once they've got all the kinks worked out....

Anyone got one yet?

Yeah, I've been going back and forth trying to decide between the Oregon and the Colorado.

I love that the Colorado has a touch screen (which the Oregon doesn't)... but I hear the display could be a bit brighter on both models.

I played with one at REI and I gotta say, the functionality was awesome! (especially the paperless geocaching and 3d maps :yup:)

I did notice that there was no mention of sirf technology in these units. The CSx is amazing in terms of getting/keeping a lock, and that has a lot to do with the sirf iii chip. I wonder if the problem with the Oregon has more to do with the chipset or the software. I remember one firmware version that they released for the CSx that slowed it down to a crawl.... the next firmware update got it back up to speed.

Thanks for the info, though-- that's definitely the kind of thing that will help me hold off and see how things progress.
