Tranny for Hemi 6.1 swap

Searching for the tranny to go behind the 6.1 Hemi we want to buy i've found a vendor that told me that the tranny behind a 5.7 Hemi-powered Ram 4x4 is the 45RFE, NOT the 545RFE, anybody has some specific info regarding this?

call your local dodge dealer in the parts department and ask them what trany comes in the charger srt8 or the challanger srt8. there the only ones that come with that engine.

And the Grand Cherokee SRT8

You want the tranny from either Grand or a Commander with a Hemi. Both of these will be the correct one to mount to the JK transfer case. This tranny will work with the 5.7 and 6.1 conversions.

The 05 Ram I traded for my Jeep and my Dad's 06 Ram have 545 RFE's behind the 5.7 Hemi. Dunno about the 07 or 08.

you mite want to look in to the trans for the power wagon. its beefed up for the lockers and it has a hemi.
