Camping with the kids

Took the kids camping down on the Chesapeake again this weekend. The weather was great and we had fun playing, hiking, and swiming.

And what would a camping trip be without a trip to the emergency room. As we were packing up my 1 yr old got a hold of the childproof bottle that contained the dog's medicine and some how got it open and dumped it out since we were not sure if he ate any of the pills, thankfully he didn't, we got to spend 4 hours at the hospital so he could be hooked up to a bunch of wires and monitored.

Looks like everone had fun except for the medicine insident. I was going to attemp camping with an 8mth old and an 8 ylr old but since we've had such a shitty summer this year, I'll give it a shot next year when the little one will be 1 1/2 yrs old.
