im fixing up a 89 tracker bass buggy, its a 20'er with a 40hp evinrude on it right now, plans for thr winter are new decking and reupholestring the seats. if any one is looking for good info www.pontoonstuff.com has a great forum.

Used to be till a blown motor and rotting floor and furniture plus the price of gas made me decide not to be one. I ended up selling the railings, console, and motor mount to a guy who refurbishes them. I took the toons and stringers put decking material over them and have a nice floating dock/temporary bridge in the pond. I am not looking for an 18-20 foot jon with a center console and decent trailer because I got a new (well older but never run because the motor mounts got busted in an accident before it ever made it to the water) 60hsp Johnson. Good luck on your project it's not impossible or even hard unless the screws are rusted so bad you can't get the old deck off.
