I know that some people here have some custom work done, or even do it themselves. I'm wondering if anybody could help me out with this one. I'm very peculiar about certain things. I'm looking for somebody who can make custom labeled buttons to replace the blank cover on the MOPAR Switch Pod - for example, the one between the Hazard Lights and ESP buttons shown below. What I need (or should I say, want) is a button labeled "AUX". Yes, I know I could just install a rocker switch somewhere. Like I said, I'm very picky.
Anybody?

It's not a blank cover. It is a light for your airbag.

Thanks for the quick response, but it's not what I'm looking for. Some vehicles come with the Airbag Sensor Display in that location, while others don't. In all honesty, I don't know if mine has it but being a North American vehicle, I assume it does. Regardless, I am looking for a custom labeled button to install in that pod, whether it's in that location or not.

them have a circuit board behind the buttons, so i'm not sure you could make it a function.
I believe the 07's had the seatbelt light and 08's switched to the gauge cluster.

Yes, there is a circuit board, but there is space between the board and the button face. I put the rocker switch for my Daylighters in the far left position.
I don't know how much room between the LED for the airbag light and the button face, though.

it would require a lot of custom work, and i dont think it would be possible to do exactly what you want. the blank covers are just that, covers. it would be hard to turn one of them into a button. i think the closest thing you could do it setup your buttons like me and sixt7gt350 have.

there are several chrysler vehicles that use the same switch panels.. the PT cruiser and I believe charger come to mind so that you may find that MOPAR makes a switch labelled with what you want that would be a direct match for your switch panel....

That's what I intended on doing. After waiting 3.5 months with the thing still on backorder I cancelled the order!!
Hate to say it, nab one from a dealer, at least they can get their hands on one.

No dude, I believe they can or they wouldn't be posting here....they are trying to help you out....
I believe the best option for you, considering your requests, would be exactly what Frog Rubicon is suggesting from quadritec (or other supporting vendors)
then just hook up the axle lock button to whatever you want and have either a graphics company make you a nice little "AUX" sticker to place over the 'axle lock' text....that would seem reasonable to me:dontknow2:
other than that I say good luck to you

To answer your question, I cannot do this, but you should be able to go to just about any sign shop that does banners, and they should be able to cut you anything you want on their plotter. I'd expect you could get it done for less than $50.
