Just curious if anyone owns an Adventure Trailer (made in the state of California). Very cool. Placing the final order on Monday and setup to match my '07 Rubicon in the Rescue Green color. The staff at Adventure Trailers are awesome! Check out their site. Let them know Korey sent you from Tucson!

If you currently own one I'm sure everyone would love to see some pics. I'll post mine as soon as I get my trailer. The perfect Jeep companion...besides the obvious.

I have Chaser production#002. I also have been more than satisfied with the people at AT and the fine products they put out. We need to get together and compare notes as well as maybe take a few runs.

The guys at AT are truely class acts,, and they stand behind their products.. I dont have one but I'm building my own version of a camp trailer. The guys there have been very helpful with advise and opinions.. They go out of their way to help even tho I havent bought anything from them, yet.. I have a list of stuff I'll be getting from them,, Have you been over to expedition portal.com?
When you pic up your trailer get lots of pictures! Also tell Mario to update his container cabin blog!
Have fun with it!! and Post pictures!
Steve

Martyn and Mario are class-acts and AT is the state of the art for vehicle-dependent overland travel; I'm a little jealous...
Enjoy your new rig; I'm sure it will bring you years of pleasure and exceed your expectations.

Here's my little toy that I got over the weekend:

Hey Hilldweller....see you took the plunge and bought the conqueror...did you get them down in price from the sale price??? Looks good. Any pictures from inside the tent?

I may have to trade in my 26.5ft fifth wheel for one of these!

Click my youtube for a walk-around and peek inside. I shot it when it was totally empty --- now it has a stocked bar, cooking & dining service for six, and all of my gear. And it's only half full...
I'm going to get a couple of lounge chairs and a chain saw...

Sweet luxury.

Doing it for the first time was a bit awkward; it took the two of us about 15 minutes to set up the tent without the rainfly.
It took longer to put it away --- guy lines, poles, and folding it neatly. I didn't like the lay of the first try, unpacked/repacked --- maybe a half hour.
I could see it becoming a fairly easy routine as long as you keep your gear organized. Maybe 20 minutes up and 30 down, with rainfly, bedding, and all the whatnots.
That's alot quicker than our previous campsite routine.

I am really thinking of going this route..... I was at the Sand Sport Super Show this weekend as was finally able to see the rig below with the tent set-up for viewing pleasure. I am now convinced I will be able to sleep in this thing...

These pics are from a different show back in spring time

The Outlaw trailer is pretty neat. It has a few nit-picky things it needs to be legal but it looks killer.
How much are they?

If you go to the first post the info to their site is posted, I'm pretty sure that it is an Adventure Trailer with a little modification and Outlaw Offroad decals.

The box looks like a Chaser, for sure. You can do alot with paint, decals, bolt-ons, and fat tires.

When you get down to it though, less is more and I prefer something discreet. I'm thinking of painting mine beige and adding camo trim or something. Although I do like my elephant stickers...

Of course; I've been tweaking it all week too --- added a couple of shelves, some fittings, put the license plate on a hinge to get at the lower storage easier, tie-downs. The little junk is time consuming...
We're taking it out again this weekend and out for a longer time over Thanksgiving; if anybody cares to join the adventure: http://expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19541

Start with something basic like a Sherpa (Outlander Trailers) and build from there; just get the basic boxes on a solid axle/leaf/shock. What you need first is a trailer that won't fall apart on you on the trails. Equip it with a stove, coolers, propane --- add batteries, charger, lights (and solar?) later.
Sell it down the line and get something more capable....
