This is the dealership that has the two Unlimiteds posted on eBay for way over MSRP. I emailed them a question about why their Sahara was priced $4k over MSRP. They reply was a straight lie, check it out:

"HI MSRP is $29710.00 It is marked up 1000.00 over MSRP not $4000.00 This is the ONLY Sahara listed on Ebay. What price do you feel would be reasonable to own the first one in your area. Thanks Jeff"

What a bunch of crap! I responded and totally called him out on it.

He must not realize who he is dealing with.

I am sure once all the hype and adrenaline comes down, things will fall into place.

If I am not mistaken, I think Jeep/Chrysler is 5th on auto sales. It will hurt them sooner or later. Give it some time.

You should send this to DC and see what they think about this :yup:

You will get and answer back, I'm pretty sure. ;)

I failed that class in school. I can't be their analyst and solve their problems.
Maybe they'll send someone and I'll get wacked!:eek!:
Maybe they'll pay us a consulting fee. :D

Besides, I don't that DC intended on the Dealer trying to sell the Jeep for that much. It's not their fault. Maybe the dealer will figure that out when DC won't send them more Jeeps because they haven't sold them.

In San Diego they were going for 6k over MSRP. Insane!

The pricing is obviously market driven - they'll ask a big price because people who have the cash or credit will pay a big price to have the the latest new rig. We shopped four states, found the lowest price and took it to our dealer- where we did our best to beat down the price from there. It's not a buyers market but I think we all know that going in, although you can grind on 'em.:yup:

wow! Here in MI most of the dealership have them....I think we got a great deal and were taken care of....My salesman has been awesome and I would recommend him to anyone. I think the dealership I went to had at least 8 or 9 JK's to choose from when I bought mine....but buying one OVER invoice price???? ugh....

I got my first Jeep YJ from them in Woodbridge and was treated great and paid just a little over invoice. Infact I drove from VA Beach to get it.

I paid about $300 below invoice for the JK.
