Years ago I reloaded just for hunting now that I don't get around so well I want to get into bench rest shooting and get a little more technical. Right now I am shooting a 300 Weatherby Accumark with a 5.5 X 22 Nightforce scope. One of these days when my ship comes in I want to get a 6MM BR no turn neck just for bench rest.

I don't reload for rifle but I do reload for our pistols. We load 9mm, .380ACP, .38 Spl., and .45ACP. My wife won't let me put a loading bench in the living room.:) I have to retire to the basement to reload. Nice set up you have there, put together very nicely. Hope your ship arrives sooner than you expect. :yup:

Nice set up! I am set up in the Air Conditioned garage concentrating on 44mag, 45 long Colt, 10mm, to save on ammo cost and for accuracy and fun sake my 308 700 Remington tack driver.

Nice gun room you have there.
I load 90% .45's and .223, and the rest is .38sp and .308. I do it just for the cost saving on practice ammo, and the winters are cold and dull.:rotflmao1:
Nothing fancy, just a bare bones set up around an old Lee Challenger press. In fact, truth be told, I do most of my reloading(223) using an old Lee hand loading kit, on a snack tray, watching TV.:rotflmao2::eek2:
Since I only run the reloads thru one rifle I can get away with just neck sizing, most of the time. As long as they feed and good bang they are good enough for what I need. A lot cheaper also.:ya::ya:

I'm still setting up from the move. i just made a new bench that is working out pretty good so far. mostly load, 9mm, 44mag, 38/357, 223, 308, 300 win mag. hoping to add a 25wssm sooner than later but the jeep addiction is getting in the way.
p.s. don't mind the mess...

i just reloaded an additional 300 rounds of 9mm this evening on my lee challenger breech lock kit. I load for my 7mm rem mag and Glock 26. I have also collected enough 40 S&W brass that it is time for me to buy a 40 and start reloading for it.... that's how that is supposed to work right? save till you got enough brass to reload then buy the gun to suit... im on my way for a 357 sig too :bleh:
i too am setup indoors. i have mine setup in our guest bedroom and i can easily slide it in the living room to watch football while i load. at first the wife didn't want it inside but a simple "i bought this house" and tada! ...... <--------- if you believe that story i've got some PRIME land for sale!

I just don't know about buying a gun cause you have a lot of brass for it. It just seems a little OCD, or something like that. Though once, a friend of mine was moving and he gave me 100 rounds of 30-40 Krag, I did have to buy an old K-J to shoot that stuff up:ya:. But those were loaded rounds, seems much saner than just having some brass.:rotflmao2::rotflmao2:

10mm  My favorite round.
I'm afraid to handload, knowing my luck I would screw up and damage myself or my guns, both of which I'd rather not do.

I used to reload shotshells by the thousands as I was an avid bird hunter. But don't hunt birds much at all anymore (and if I do it's head shots on grouse in my yard with the ol' 22 cal pellet gun...lol) I still have all the stuff, and would love to get back into duck and goose hunting again someday.
I'm also set up to reload for my 8mm RemMag. This round is getting kinda rare and you can't find the loaded rounds much anymore in the stores. I just can't find the time to sit down and load some up. I did reload a few 200 grain Nosler Partitions years ago, and that's managed to keep me going for quite awhile. I used to shoot quite a bit, and really should do more. Work, house and raising a family can sure cramp your style I guess!!!.....lol.
I just looked and I'm down to about 6 rounds left of those Noslers, so I really better get busy again.
BTW......Years ago I was told you should keep powder warm or at room temp. Does anybody know if that's true??? I've made the mistake of letting my shack/reloading room get pretty cold over the years. I would think that as long as it stays moisture free it would be ok........no?

The only calibers I reload now are .38/.357 and my .30/.30.
I had other cailbers but sold the firearms and gave the dies along with them.

I am sure if your powder is in a sealed container it is fine.
