You are pulling that with a 2 door!! How much does it weigh? How did it pull?

I want something like this for our camping/wheeling trips but Jeepin Dad tells me all we can pull is 2000 pounds or less with our 2 door.

That looks really great.

Wow...Nice looking trailer. Seems like a lot of weight for a two-door though  What's it weigh? How it tow ?

Its small and light and it weighs in at 2300, so I am cheating a little.

It has electric brakes and I got a real good hitch for it, a reese dual cam to help with sway controller. The dealer said I would not need it but I got it just the same to be safe. Afer all with all the side area and frontal area its not exactly aero dynamic. But I get between 12 and 13.5 MPG towing.

I have seen other 2 doors pulling similar trailors in the UP which gave me the idea to look around which I did until I found this one.

For handeling you know its there as there is not the most HP under the hood. Im sure my Chevy S10 will tow it eaiser but it has a 4.3 but it most likely will not get the chance as I want the jeep when I go camping.

I assume the Dry Weight of the trailer is 2300 lbs? (according to the Trail-Lite specs (http://www.trail-lite.com/PDFs/Trail-Lite-Crossover.pdf)) If so that puts you quite a bit over your tow limit with the loaded capacity (GVWR) probably around 3500 lbs or more :eek2: That's a lot for a 2 door Jeep rated to tow only 2000lbs... I'm surprised the dealer sold you the trailer to be honest. :naw: Not trying to be a ball buster but simply pointing out there are tow ratings for a reason... safety... and your dealer should be keeping you within your limits.
