Went fishing this evening. Here is our catch of Cutthroat trout, landed in about 45 minutes. The largest is 13 inches. The fish are hungry and everyone is hunting now so the streams aren't crowded. Sorry for the poor picture, but the sun was going down and they were in shadow. I'm going fishing again tomorrow. The weather is supposed to get nasty Friday and the season closes for the year then also. If we do well I'll try to post another picture in a few days.

Nice mess of fish. I'm in Arkansas, so only tailwater fishing for trout for me. Been a tough year, lot of rain, lakes too high, flood gates/generators have been open a lot so the water has been too high to fish. Hoping to get out there and catch a big brown or two later this fall.

Dude... I hear yah about Arkansas. I heard the Narrows Bridge did not even have room for a bass boat... normally it is over 100 feet to the water there. Rough year for us in Arkansas for boating. I have had my boat sitting at the boat yard since last season.

We went up to JFK Park/Dam to check it out the weekend they had all the gates opened on the White River system. They didn't open them that day, but it looked like the water would go over on it's on. I think this year was the only time they've had every gate open on Norfolk. They weren't sure how bad it would be downstream. Have some friends with cabins down at the mouth of the White. Several lost them, some flooded pretty bad and good bit of refurbishing being done.
