Nice to see a photography section on here. I do quite a bit of outdoor photography and the Jeep is definitely an instrumental tool in getting me to some of my favorite areas.

Took a little time the other day to get out of the Jeep and take some photos around one of the trails. All of these shots are right on the edge of the Jeep trail, pretty cool to know that all the little critters use the trail too.

Very nice shots. I enjoy photography too, it's really a fun hobby. My favorite of your shots, the fourth one down of the damsel fly on the blade of grass. Nice composition and sharp. Good stuff, post more when you can.

Excellent work! I really enjoy quality macros like these.

I'm with you - the best piece of photography equipment I own is the Jeep.:D

Thanks everyone.

I shot those using a 200mm-400mm zoom coupled with a macro tube. That combination allows me to shoot macros at a fairly good distance away from the subject to keep from disturbing them. I didn't have my tripod with me on this day, but I usually prefer to have at least a monopod on hand when shooting these.

Very cool, love seeing the backyard stuff. I think most people would be surprised to know how many critters really live in their backyard.

one advantage to wheeling with no doors is that you see a lot more then normal. this guy came scampering down a tree and i would've missed him if had my doors on. lucky me he stopped where he did and waited for me to take a picture. :D
