I'm sorry to think today is closing day for trout fishing here in Wyoming. We just had to go one last time this morning. My son, his wife, my DH and I did some stream fishing and all got our limit not to mention releasing a few that weren't hurt. We are allowed 3 trout each so I am holding up a double stringer of our total catch of 12 trout. The largest is 13 1/2 inches. We are planning a wonderful trout dinner on Sunday, including home made french fries and my home made apple pie with ice cream. :ya: Yum, yum! Are you all drooling? :synister: Trout season is from April 1st until November 31st. Can't wait until Spring so we can go fishing again. Meanwhile, I'll take the Jeep into the mountains to do a little gold prospecting.

Yes, I do fly fish. In fact I've tied many of my own flies. It is such fun and so exciting. I used to ice fish as a kid in Wisconsin, and although there is great ice fishing in our area, I find it too cold for me to enjoy.

This winter I'm going to try and learn how to tie flies so that in the spring I can try my hand at fly fishing using my own flies.
