... the name of the device that was posted about on here a while back designed for hikers, mountain climbers, wheelers, etc. to carry in case they were stranded that you could just push a button and send a signal to rescue teams?

I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

Am I going nuts or is there something out there like that?

We got one so that if my wife goes on hikes alone I can keep track and she has a way to call for help. I use it when I am out on long rides for the same reason.

I also use the easy button myself.. and cheap,, like $4.95 or so,, But then again,, they dont let me out of the little padded room too often..
