Congratulations that is a nice buck.
I have often wondered how it has come about that in different neck of the woods deer are judged differently. In the East your deer is a ten pointer, In California where I was born and raised it would be referred to as a four pointer or 4X4, in Washington where I now live it is a five pointer or 5X5. In the end it is a very nice buck and I congratulate you on your success.

My dad is coming down from Vermont and we will be hunting State Game Lands up near Rausch Creek next week. I got a 9-pointer up there last year on the 2nd day of rifle season.

That's a good way to haul one with a Jeep, check out how it's done with a BMW.

Having lived in Brown County, I'm guessing a fella that big came from elsewhere?
(I've seen some monsters out of Jackson and Morgan)

EDIT: I saw your other post. No where near the park then? When I lived in Brown, we used to call the deer in and around the park "dog deer," because their overpopulation had ruined the herd and all other wildlife.

Back up to mine and we could pretend like they're fighting!

Congrats to both of you guys, they look good. I've only got to go once this year. I only bow hunt though. When we moved I lost access to all of the grounds I had permission for, and have to share public land which is way over hunted in Southern IL. If someone near Breese IL needs me to thin out their herd just let me know! :D

Those both look awesome. I didn't so much as see a deer this weekend. The only ones I saw were driving back from our spot. We need to obviously find a better spot to hunt. We thought we had a good place staked out, but we were wrong. Hopefully this weekend or next I can get my first kill in!
