Took a run north of the house on Sunday into the Hieroglyphic Mountains. There are a bunch of gold and silver mines in them there hills. Check out the pix.

they look like MT Classic IIs with 35 12.50 BFG MTs....maybe 33s?:thinking:

BFG 285/70/17 (285 = just under 33 by about a quarter inch).

Yeah I like the desert, but it can get pretty monotonous if that's the only place you wheel.

AGREE!!!!! I have been here for 19 years! I want to get up into Colorado for some wheel trips. I like Hannagan Meadow area in AZ, though.
I picked up the AZ backroads 4x4 trail book and it is filled with mostly desert runs.

N. AZ is nice; I also like Hannagan Meadow. But sometimes in the summer it can be kinda hot up there in direct sun.:naw: I've never been to Colorado though. Maybe it's time?:thinking:
