View Full Version : Lifted my neighbor's TJ and put JK 17" wheels on it

This past weekend my neighbors bought my 17" JK wheels and tires from me and I installed a Skyjacker 2" lift with Nitro shocks for them. So far I think it looks good. Here are some shots of it next to my JK.

Check out the difference in rear bumper height :)

The difference in the bumpers are about the height of that grass! You've definitely got your priorities in order, Jeep first yard second! :rock: :yup:

How did you take your 5x5 JK rims and install them on a 5x4.5 TJ axels?

I was wondering that too. Someone on here was wondering about adapters to do this a couple of weeks ago.

I had them buy 1.25" wheel adapters from ezaccessories.com

Worked out perfectly and had the added benefit of moving the tires out a bit. Also, I was the one wondering a few weeks ago how to do it for this exact project :)
