I wanted to see what the cost of these would be brand new so I went to quadratech and lo and behold they don't carry the OEM sunrider top for the 2 door JK. However, I've seen numerous people (on this site and other Jeep sites) selling their 2 door OEM sunrider tops off of their 07 and 08 JK's that came with the Jeep. Just wondering if for some reason the 2 door sunrider top is available from the dealership but not from quadratech or other retaliers? Can someone please explain this? Thanks.

I found one on Craigslist for $60, but it didn't have any hardware or windows. I had to purchase the door frames from the dealer for $225. You will need the frames with the clip/pins for the Sunrider frame.

It's a nice day in western Washington today. I'll be folding back right after work.....

I believe Chrysler holds the exclusive rights to the Sunrider top. It's kind of like when they came out with ATF +4, you had to buy it from Chrysler for several years before the rights were licensed to the oil brands to sell. Watch craigslist or here for a Sunrider. I bought one brand new complete with all parts and tinted windows for $375 on craigslist.

Don't know about the 'States, but here in OZ the Sunrider top comes packed when you order the Hard-top, so I'm guessing that's why you see heaps of people selling them on ebay & the like if they're intending on only running with the Hard-top; most like mine are still in the box & are in new condition.

Yup, that is exactly the case with mine. The owner bought the two top package and was only going to run the hardtop so they sold the Sunrider still wrapped and packed to me.

Best top is the maker of OEM factory tops from what a supplier in Va told me.
