I know, I know this is a JK Forum. But, I know you guys lurk on other forums as well.

I took my JK wheeling and had a blast. However, I didn't like the carnage on the wheels and underside. So, I want to wait a few years before I wheel it again.

Which brings me to now. I am about to go pick up a 97' TJ and build it instead of my JK.

Is there a "Good" quality forum similar to this one that I can get good useful information?

Thanks
Hooked

www.virtualjeepclub.com --This is Arizona-specific, but the tech info is great, and the group is mostly civilized and helpful, unlike another technically useful forum www.*********.com . Neither site is supposed to be TJ-specific, but the majority of info and users are TJ.

A TJ-specific private site that is very technically useful is www.stu-offroad.com

Thanks guys,

I will post my stupid questions here, then post non-stupid stuff elswere. Just kidding.

What do you all think about the JK pulling the TJ? If I had a quality ballanced trailer?

Just flat tow it. On a trailer it would be too much weight.

Not a forum, but this site has a ton of great info and detailed mod write-ups for TJ's. Stu is also a great guy.

If you're gonna get a TJ, don't get the '97. Plagued with problems. '98+ is the way to go. '99 seems to be a bastard child of the TJs, lots of oddball stuff.

:rotflmao1: shameless.... :rotflmao1:

stu's is good stuff as well.

the *********.com TJ thing is....well, it is what it is. if you can filter through all the crap, and become handy with the search function, you can get what you need out of it.

unless your fabing your entire jeep on your own dont go to ********* and start posting about stupid stuff cause theyll rip you apart. i second www.*********.com thats where i got most of my info when i first got my TJ

I second that. It is not a place to ask for newbie questions unless you are prepared to be burned at the stake. There's a lot of crap, but there's also a lot of great info for just about anything you can think of. [or can't]

im glad you said that. i was just about to ask what types of problems, cause i have a 97' TJ and its my first and only jeep, and first vehicle. it was a graduation gift and i love it. ive never heard of them having any problems so i didn't know if there was something i should look out for or pay attention too? the only problem i have had so far is that the temp. doesn't sit perfect? did you have that problem with yours?
