I had a blast! And i learned not to go to slow in mud... I was sitting in one spot for about 2 mins until i could wiggle my way out and gain enough speed. After that i was up and down the lake a bunch and in that big puddle. Then i washed the crap out of it. Its an endless cycle. One i like :yup:

LOOKS GOOD MAN!! YEA THERE FUN GETTING DIRTY :D also keep in mind you dont want to go to fast through mud and water could mess things up doing that ( just food for thought)

Wheeling in Tapps! Are you serious? Ive lived in the Tacoma area for 30+ years. Always new they drained the lake every year. Never in a million years thought they would EVER let people drive in it. Is it open to the public, or do you know someone who lives on the lake?

we got to the lake down an open lot, i dont know if what we were doing was legal or not, but since its drained its wide open. I guess people go there all the time (notice all the ruts)

People were even watching us, no one gave us trouble.

no ideA? keep it from freezing for some reason? Maybe to keep it fresh, and clean? i dont really know, or really care. Cant really use it in the winter and it makes for a nice mud puddle =)

Water rights. The public utilities (not sure which one) uses the water to make power. They have been fighting over it for years, in fact they almost drained it permanently a couple years ago.

Of course, now that I find out it's a good close spot to go mudding, they'll probably fill it permanently:drowninga:
