Or Frisbee Golf, as I call it. I played a new 9 hole course that is in a little park on what was our family farm until we sold it to a developer a few years ago. I first started in San Diego when I was stationed aboard the USS Tarawa, LHA-1 (Eagle of the Sea). The course was 18 holes and located in Balboa Park across from the golf course. I also played a course in Huntington Beach and Austin.

Yeah, it's a lot cheaper than regular golf and a lot more fun.

Oh yah, there's a couple of actual courses in Winnipeg, and many many makeshift ones (that street sign is the next hole, the trash can is the 15th)

I've also played in Kananaskis and Calgary. I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get out there w/ my buddies.

That reminds me of the games I used to play in the front yard as a kid.
My front yard, full of mature walnuts, makes a great frisbee golf course.
Time to teach the kids a new game! (except that we didn't have a Lab when I was a kid, trying to retrieve every throw)

My son and I have played an 18-holer at Will Rogers park in Oklahoma City. Lots of fun--we have also had my Venturing Crew (part of Boy Scouting) out there. There's also a 9-hole course about a 10-minute drive from my house, but have never played it.

I grew up in Chula Vista and my folks still live there--will have to take our putters and drivers out there to play the course in Balboa Park--prettiest city park in the nation.

I play a few times a year in Illinois, just for fun.
