anyone out there use this SUV tent?

It is called a turbo tent and supposedly can be set up in like 60 seconds due to it's design. It is made by Black Pine. Looks pretty solid and I like the fact that you can back the jeep right up to it.

Found it while running a google search for suv tents. There are some vendors out there selling this line including Cabelas.

You can't back the Jeep up to it, but then I don't see a place for a wood burning heater in your tent. LOL

My wife's father won it and the power pack.

The power pack plugs into it and it has outlets all over the tent as well as night lights. it's pretty cool.

:wink: Hatch tents are ideal for base camping, you can leave all day and return to the tent hookup, for safety/security/privacy-neat

(jeep is too far into tent, normally its a few feet further out)

I put a single air mattress in jeep with seats down, and a queen air bed in tent.
Leaves a couple of feet of floor space for shoes, etc.

Its ok for short weekend trips, but I'm looking to get a bigger tent and leave this for storage & kitchen, attached to jeep. Be fun to get a roof mounted tent and make a whole two story-condo/tent.

But Id like to save up and get an off-road trailer.

I bought my daughter this tent. She loves it. Go's all over California camping.

Kathy and I used this set up with our XJ. Spent every weekend camping out at Crystal Mt. in Washington state during the winter to get first tracks. It stood up to 40mph winds and 3 feet of snow. Got it at Cabella's.
