Jeep Wars

My 7 yr old daughter and I play Jeep Wars. You get points for finding jeeps first. Everytime we ride in my jeep, we play jeep wars. Here are some rules:

1. You must call out the color of the jeep: ex: "green jeep"
2. Jeep wrangler family only. No Liberties, no cherokees, ect.
3. If you see a Willys, you get 50 points each,
4. If you see a Jeep w/ the top down, 5 points each,
5. If you see any other Jeeps, 1 point each,
6. If you call out Jeep, but it happens to be a Hummer, then you have to start over at zero points.
7. You can not count the same jeep twice,
8. Game ends when we get to our destination.

We have a blast, and usually she wins!

Punch Buggy baby!!! When you see a VW Bug you punch the other person on the arm and say "the color of the bug", "buggy, no punch backs". There are a couple in the neighborhood that we are always ready for.

We play name the type and color. The RIGHT factory color. Oh and jeeps with DUBS or heaven forbid a low rider jeeps does not count!!!

When my kids were little we had a similar game but it was called "beep beep- there's a jeep".

My dad and I used to play a very similar game with VW Bugs when I was a kid.
You had to call Buggy Blue 1pt
Convertible x2
Top down x2
Moving X2
Buggy Bus (VW terrorist vans) 2 pts
Karmann Gia 5pts.
i.e. Karmann Gia Blue, Convertible, top down, moving =40 points
(the rules started to become very sophisticated)

Good for you on doing that with your daughter, I loved that game with my dad, I'd make him cruise a couple extra blocks in his CJ to come up with extra points.

I play the jeep wars with my kids....but also if we are traveling at night we search out vehicles with burnt out headlights and call out a point.

My daughter had an idea for a new rule... If you can get the other Jeeper to wave back at you....double points!

Thats great, I'm excited about doing stuff like this with my girl when she gets older (she's 1 month today).
