I have been checking on the web a lot and on some of the other forums including extensive searches on here.

wondering if any vendors out there have any R&D into a beefy steering shaft that does not clank. mine has started to do it and it's just driving me crazy. and it seems that everyone is just going out buying a new one and when it starts to rattle and clank again they either pack the boot with grease or they buy a new one.

is there not a big enough market for these with the JK? i know i would buy one if someone came out with one and im sure there are a bunch of other people on here and other forums online who would be willing to buy one if they did not have to keep buying a factory one.

just curious to see what everyone has to say on the subject.

thank you

i have not found one. but i tell you this im going to take mine out measure it and maybe just build my own using Borgeson parts. im sure they would have everything. also they custom make stuff so if no one is going to produce one in the near future i guess ill just get one made.

out of the 79 people that looked at this only 7 people voted :naw: i guess there is no market for this.

I was thinking about my steering shaft yesterday and plan to upgrade once its time. But I still have lots of more needed mods currently.

Mine currently does not make noise. but once it does I will replace with aftermarket if available. the OEM's are known for making noise. I voted yes I am interested
