I havent seen many shots of the 2drs out there yet, so here is just a quick shot of mine for now.

No immediate plans on changing anything, i tend to go overboard without putting the brain in gear first, so this time i am going to drive it for a while first, then decide on what i want to change later.

shhhh.... the better half is buying that guff for now. :D

Thank you Sir, I like it also. I honestly do not see why everyone hates them so much, yeah they are going to eventually get scratched up but so will black ones, and the rest of the thing as well.

I agree, they are worried about the fenders.. what about the rest of the jeep, being scrathced..

I plan on painting the bushwackers to match to body, i like the look,

Thanks for putting this up. It's looks great.
It does seem like everyone and their brother(literally) went out and bought 4drs.
I've wanted to ask someone..... It looks like you got the 17" rims with the p255's, which is what I ordered on my X. Do the 32's look good on the JK? I've only seen pics of the JK so far(I live in Okinawa) and the p225's on the X seemed way too small. So I ordered the X with the S option and upgraded to the 17" rims hoping that it would give the Jeep a 'full' look and I wouldn't feel the need to upgrade the tires right away. Any thoughts?
It's tough only being able to see this thing in pictures, especially when most are of the 4dr or of the Rubion. I've got another 88 days(not that I'm counting) until I move back to the states and Im going straight from the airport to the dealership to pick mine up.

Thanks
Matt

Stone White(1st choice -NoGo'ed by wife  ), Flame Red & Bright Silver Metallic were the only colors I considered buying w/ black flares...
Didn't consider Black 'cause of my Stang

Yes, the tires/rims are 255/75-17's I like them, they arent huge but look far better in my opinion than the puny little ones that come on the basic versions.

If you want some other/more/different pics, i can snap a few more if it would help you out.

Great to be "short" ain't it? :yup:

Here's my flame red 2 dr rubicon;

I have had it for a week now and it's awesome!

Nice ride Mike, i love the red & the hard top.

(Kinda wishing i had gone with the dual-top option for the northeast winters)

I see the kidlet seats in the rear there... drivers side one is the same side as i have mine on, but mine is still facing rear, what a pain in the a$$ to get the short one in and out. (Have to do the baby handoff in from the passenger side to accomplish the monumental feat of baby installation)

Does it go any easier from the drivers side once you get it turned about?

Happy Curmudgeon,
It will get alot easier eventually. My son is three and he has no problem just climbing between the seats and buckling himself into his car seat in the back. I know it's a ways off for you, but keep the faith, you'll get there.

I never liked the rock red.. But I really like the looks on the 2 door!

How about the Red Rock with mud accents?

I won't take too much offense. The red rock is pretty average at night or under overcast skies. But when the Sun comes out it REALLY pops!

Ive only seen it covered in mud, but the sun really brings out the color.. Mud looks great.
I'm still driving around puddles..:rotflmao1:

Nice pics.

That piece of body sticking into the rear wheel well is pretty stupid aint it? I wonder who the brain-child was that concocted that one.

I've loved everything about mine except the body dents easily.

The half doors are great and it's very quiet ride. Engine is so quiet i have to keep a eye on rpm's to shift.

Hey I think that's the first member's ride I have seen with the half doors. I'm glad you like them. Clearly they have thier following, or there wouldn't be so many out there. I have always preferred the full metal door. (when it's on that is.) I really like them with the top half yanked off.

Good Morning.

I had a forum member ask me if i would post more pics. The weather & my work schedule have really put a damper on getting that done, but here are some. They are a bit fuzzy in some cases, but i am still learning this new digital camera so they may get better with age. *L*

Anywho, i hope they help those who wanted to see them.

Passenger side entry (or lack thereof) *note the incredibly ignorant placement of the passenger side front garote... err... seatbelt. This seriously hampers use of the ever non-usefull "tilt and slide" passenger seat for entry to the rear seats. The DC engineer who came up with this little gem should be shot between the eyes with a telephone pole.
