Yippee. I am so freekin excited. I found a 1982 CJ7 on craigslist. The guy I bought it from had no idea what it had in it so after digging throught the goo on the underside of the jeep I found out it has a

NP205 Transfer Case
TH350 Transmission
Really old Chevy 350 (not sure how old) Dipstick is on drivers side but the engine purrs and is very smooth and the engine is clean with no dirt on it at all.:ya:
Hard Top

It does have holes in the floor pan where your feet go but the rest is solid.

I payed $2000 for it and drove it home. My wife thinks I payed too much.:naw:

Nope, you didn't pay too much. In 2000, I paid $4000 for an 81cj with completely rusted fenders , rusted pretty good on the body aswell. I fixed it up and sold it when our little girl was born. I wasn't able to keep it at that time. Hang on to it and fix it up bro! I know a guy that paid 3 grand for one that a good sized pine tree had grown up through the bumper and frame.:eek2:
