thinking of getting an xj.. good idea?

so i am getting rid of my jk and thinking of different vehicles i would like to get... i have seen a fewe xjs and they are some of my favorite vehicles and if i got the one i am looking at i would be out of a car payment..

this one is actually BLKRUBI's that he has for sale. it has a rubicon express 5.5 lift with 32" tires. and some other goodies.. with 86k miles on it.

is an XJ a good daily driver? one of the reasons i am getting out of my jeep is it is freaking uncomfortable to drive on these crappy alabama roads.

i know the basic design of the suspensions are the same but are 4 door XJs longer than 2 door jks? because that is somehting that makes a difference.

thanks man,.. i am just torn on trying to buy an xj flatout and not have payments or get a newer tacoma like truck and have payments..

when you say slightly modified... how slight? the xj i am looking at has a 5.5" lift on it with rubicon wheels and tires.. it doesnt look cartoony or anything like that..

just curious.

I used to have an XJ with a 4 inch lift. It drove well and was pretty good off road. But then I think the JK rides very nice as well.
I like the 4.0L engine. I used to pull a 20ft bow rider with it with no problem.

I personally prefer the JK, but the XJ can be a great Jeep also. You look like you live close enough to go take a test ride. It's a BA looking XJ!:clap:
