Barbie Jeep Race Goes Terribly Wrong

If you’ve been thinking those Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing events were all just fun and games, then you might want to think again.

In the clip below, a driver can be seen being knocked unconscious after flying off his Pink Jeep that he was racing down a rocky hill against another brave (and possibly inebriated) competitor. Be warned, the clip, posted by Awesome Documentary, is pretty brutal.

The good thing is that the injured participant does regain conscious some time later after paramedics arrive. But it’s still pretty scary to watch. Of course, an event like this is definitely an enter-at-your-own-risk type of affair.

Still, even if I had somehow thought of participating in the race in the first place, I’d be bowing out after watching that fall. But clearly, for some, the thrill is worth the danger; just a few minutes after the track is cleared, participants are back at again, tumbling their toy Jeeps down the rocky hill, much to the delight of the very festive crowd.
