They pulled it off. They sure did. With the kind of unity that you’ll only find among Jeep owners, Butler, Pennsylvania has reclaimed its official title as host of the largest Jeep parade in the world.

A total of 2,420 Jeeps rolled into the small town of roughly 13,000 to help claim the Guinness World Record for the most Jeeps in a parade, breaking an earlier record of 1,846 Jeeps set a couple of months back at the Jeep Beach Parade in Florida, according to the World Record Academy.

The event was held in conjunction with the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. Organizers say Jeeps from 38 states and Canada were represented in the world-record breaking event. The event was promoted as part of the build-up for Jeep’s 75th Anniversary, which is officially next year.

The Jeeps paraded 2.75 miles through downtown Butler. It had to be quite a view for onlookers lucky enough to be on hand for the event.
