Free Ways to Make Your Jeep More Fun

Ahhh … the feeling of wind in your face on a nice Sunday drive. No other vehicle can recreate the feeling of freedom like the Jeep can, but you may have to do a tweak or two in order to get it to its Jeep-est way possible.

Modifying your Jeep takes a few things, but primarily it takes time and money, which for most people are two things they don’t have a ton of. Big tires, winches, and lift kits are cool, but what can you do with a fully stock Jeep? There are ways you can improve your Jeeping experience with just a little elbow grease and without breaking the bank, or better yet, without spending any money at all.

APiDA Online brings us the video below on how to make your Jeep more fun for free. Here are a few of the finer points:

Remove the top: If you own a removable hardtop or soft-top Jeep, you can make it a lot more fun by removing the top. Make sure to pay attention with how the top is attached to begin with, and be careful with the snaps and straps to hold it into place, as any damage could compromise your top’s performance.

Fold the windshield down: No other vehicle for sale today offers the option to have the windshield stowed away. This is only recommended if you plan on cruising or off-roading at very slow speeds, as it could be a hazard. But not having a huge window in front of you while overlanding is one of the coolest things ever.

Remove doors: Another Jeep classic. Why would anyone want to drive without doors? Well, why not? Plus, it’s cheap!
