Is There Anything a Wrangler Can’t Tow?

Jeep Wrangler Tow (9)

The JK is good for a lot more than enjoying a sunny day, getting dirty, or messing up your mother-in-law’s hair-do. These machines are insanely practical in almost every way, and you can even slap a hitch on the back and tow with the best of them. Back in the wild days of 2008, 4x4girl started a thread asking people to post photos of their Jeeps towing things, and the response was pretty crazy. Seven years and more than 300 posts later, there are photos of Wranglers pulling anything and everything.

No, seriously.

There are photos of race cars, trailers, campers, boats, jet skis, ATVs, expedition trailers, and even other Jeeps. Heck, we even have a photo of a Wrangler pulling a horse box. If I didn’t know any better, I would say the Jeep is better at towing than it is at climbing rocks, just based on these photos. If you have ever been curious about what exactly you can haul behind your JK, just take a look at this gallery, and then if you’re still pulling for more, feel free to dive into the main thread.

I would like to add a little disclaimer, if I could, though. Just because these Jeeps have moved some of these items, that does not mean it was always safe. Before you tow, be sure to check out your hitch, trailer, and total weight to make sure you aren’t over-doing it. Just because the Jeep can move it, doesn’t mean it should.
