Coming in Hot: Off-Road Crashes in the Desert

Off-road crashes are worse than the ones you see on the street for one main reason: they seem to go on forever. Thankfully cameras are everywhere these days and we get to enjoy all the carnage from the safety of our phone or computer screens.

Trophy trucks are well represented in the off-road crashes video below, representing three of the top five. Some of the courses encountered by trophy trucks are rough and grueling , just like their drivers. But when there’s a crash, you know that they will probably feel it the next day.

As opposed to the trucks, a land speed record crash happens at a much higher pace. The ground they navigate over might be perfectly smooth and flat, but as we see with a Honda, pushing the 200 mph barrier still has its consequences. The car kinks its tail out slightly and the next thing you know, it’s leaving a trail of body panels and car parts half-a-mile long! Luckily the driver was okay, thanks to a very sturdy roll-cage.

The last desert crash is the biggest and loudest of them all. Check it out below. I won’t spoil it for you.
